Hello, and welcome to my blog!

Following a divorce from a 13-year relationship/6-year marriage, I became a single mom to a milk-allergic boy.  The idea for this blog came to me two years later, in the summer of 2016, when my son suffered an anaphylactic reaction to peanuts.  Yes, it’s been that long in the making! 🙂  Because, life happens…

In the spirit of full transparency, I’m not necessarily sharing new recipes on this blog.  My goal is to collect all of the go-to recipes I have used over the last few years, combined with classics passed down from my family, and illustrate how easy it is to adapt them for a dairy/peanut/nut allergy.  All recipes that are either taken as is or adapted from elsewhere will be credited accordingly.

This blog will also be a combination of stories and ressources.  I want to reach out to parents who are faced with the same confusion and stress with which I initially lived when my son was first diagnosed, and reassure them that it’s going to be okay.

I hope this site becomes a valuable tool for you, and keeps you living your life dairy-free, peanut-free and certainly stress-free.
